"Walls don't Fall without Effort"

Today's post is all about Grunge! The grungy look! I think this look describes more than any other type of style. I can play around with different accessories! You always have to wear dark colors to get that specific look but I love the end results.

Definition of the Grunge Look:
Grunge is epitomised in bands like Nirvana. It conveys an "I don't give a fuck" attitude. It is loosely tied in with rock and punk, but stands as it's own genre of music and style of dress. Instead of going out of their way to be the opposite of a "conformist", people with grunge style simply don't participate. Its like "who gives a damn what I'm wearing" look.

Uptown Funk-y Wall

So this is my second post of this month! And I am in Love with this outfit! It's totally different to any of my other looks. I like to experiment with my outfits, I don't like to stick to one type of look. It's like playing dress up and I try different looks every time.

So I went for leather culottes which I love but are hard to style since they are a bit long and I'm short, it can make me look even shorter. So i teamed them with a tight black top and boots that have a small heel on them to give me a bit of height.

Also I got a lot of help from my boyfriend, who is a photographer and he really helped me with the pictures and the posing... And the results were perfect!

Checked and Leather X Spring

It's April!!!!!! I'm going to start my first post with a poem...

"Now that the winter's gone, the earth hath lost
Her snow-white robes, and now no more the frost
Candies the grass, or casts an icy cream
Upon the silver lake or crystal stream;
But the warm sun thaws the benumbed earth,
And makes it tender; gives a sacred birth
To the dead swallow; wakes in hollow tree
The drowsy cuckoo and the humble-bee.
Now do a choir of chirping minstrels bring
In triumph to the world the youthful spring."
-  Thomas Carew, The Spring, 1630

Today's post includes yesterdays outfit, which is not an outfit for spring because i'm wearing a leather skirt and boots as it's too cold to wear maxi dresses, skirts with no tights, sandals e.t.c...
